ENTRY:

Entry/Immediate Delivery (CBP form 3461) or inward Cargo manifest (CBP form 7533) or other forms of merchandise release.

Evidence of right to make entry (A BILL OF LADING OR AIR WAYBILL).

Commercial Invoice or Proforma Invoice.

Packing list, if appropriate.

Other documents necessary to determine merchandise admissibility regulated by other government agencies.
ENTRY SUMMARY:

Entry summary (CBP form 7501) or a declaration for free entry of returned American products (CBP form 3311) or other appropriate forms of Entry.

Commercial Invoice or Proforma Invoice.

Other invoices and documents necessary to assess duties, collect statistics, or determine that all import requirements have been satisfied by other government agencies.
Within 15 calendar days of the date a shipment arrives at a U.S. port of entry, entry documents must be filed at a location specified by the port director.
The failure to file a CF 7501 entry summary within 10 working days after the time of entry will result in a demand being made for liquidated damages against the importer of record’s basic importation bond.
