Section 301, Unfair Trade Practice

 

Section 301 actions are designed to allow the U.S. to impose trade sanctions on foreign countries that violate trade agreements or engage in unfair trade practices.

Section 232, National Security

 

Section 232 actions are designed to allow the U.S. to impose tariffs or Quotas to imports of products that are found to impair national security.
